Ir! Princesa PreCure é ambientada em um colégio interno, chamado Noble Gakuen (Noble Academy). A protagonista Haruka Haruno é uma estudante de 13 anos de idade. Seu grande sonho é ser uma princesa algum dia, porque ela admira uma princesa no livro de fotos que ela tem mantido desde a infância. Um dia ela se transforma em Cure Flora com "Dress Up Key" que o príncipe Kanata do Reino da Esperança lhe deu como um amuleto da sorte quando ela era pequena. Em seguida, ela também encontra outras meninas PreCure em sua escola, Minami Kaidou, de 14 anos, como Sereia de Cura e Kirara Amanogawa, de 13 anos, como Cure Twinkle. Como a equipe Princesa PreCure, com duas fadas Pafu e Aroma, eles decidem lutar contrar
