Furacão Polymar é a identidade secreta de Takeshi Yoroi (ののの). Ele usa um terno especial que lhe permite combater o crime. O traje é feito de plástico de memória que lhe permite assumir qualquer forma, incluindo a morfina do usuário em 5 veículos diferentes.r

Onigawara, o diretor da Agência Internacional de Polícia Secreta, estava ansioso para fazer de Takeshi um investigador criminal de primeira linha. Takeshi recebeu treinamento, o que o transformou em um esportista, bem como especialista em artes marciais. No entanto, a atitude de Takeshi em relação ao combate ao crime era tão incompatível com a de Onigawara, que ele o renegou. Por um tempo Takeshi investigou o crime sozinho; então ele se tornou assistente de detetive particular e faz-tudo. Secretamente, no entanto, Takeshi obteve de um cientista um novo polímero artificial, polívio, polimet, que era muito mais forte que o aço. Com este polímet Takeshi transformou-se em Furacão Polymar, um herói fantasiado invencível.r
