Bem-vindos ao guia do Programa Ann Sothern na TV Tome. Quando o show começou, Katy O'Connor era a gerente assistente da Casa Bartley, um hotel swank, Nova York. Seu chefe era o gerente Jason Macauley, um cavalheiro tímido e idoso que era constantemente intimidado por sua esposa arrogante, Flora. Outros membros da equipe bartley eram Olive Smith, secretária de Katy, quarto e melhor amigo; Johnny, o jovem bellboy que tinha uma queda por Katy; e Paul, o suave funcionário francês. Depois de um breve 23 episódios, o programa sofreu mudanças radicais... Jason Macauley foi transferido para calcutá Bartley, partindo com sua esposa. Seu substituto foi James Devery, um gerente mais jovem e um pouco de cabeça grossa que estava sempre se deixando levar com alguma ideia nova. Interpretando o Sr. Devery foi Don Porter, que já havia sido visto com Ann em "Private Secretary", sua primeira série.
