Os Snorks são uma raça de pequenos seres coloridos que vivem felizes no mundo subaquático (de água salgada) de Snorkland. Eles têm snorkels em suas cabeças, que são usados u200bu200bpara impulsioná-los rapidamente na água. Como evidenciado pela série de desenhos animados, quando um Snork fica excitado, seu tubo emite um som de "mergulho". Eles têm muito da mesma tecnologia que os humanos contemporâneos, adaptados ao seu próprio ambiente aquático. Os Snorks usam amêijoas como moeda ("amêijoas" também é uma gíria para dinheiro).
